Important: For Queensberry's File Specifications and our ICC profile please click here.

This article has additional information about file specifications for books and albums, including for:

  • Book and album design in Workspace
  • Queensberry's album design service
  • Album design with third party software
  • Queensberry's album colour correction services

Book and album design in Workspace

Please upload single-layer JPGs wherever possible, ensuring that the files are large enough for the maximum print size possible within the album format you're ordering. Take special care if you're including panoramas!

TIFFs are acceptable but not preferred.

Click here for more about album design in Workspace.

Queensberry's album design service

Our requirements are the same as for book and album design in Workspace, but TIFFs are NOT acceptable.

Album design with third party software

If you prefer to use third-party software we recommend Smart Albums, AlbumStomp or Fundy.

Whatever  third-party software you're using  make sure it allows you to set the page dimensions to our specifications, and that it can export print-quality files.

  • JPGs are required for print-ready orders.
  • PSDs are required for Basic or Premium colour correction by Queensberry (see below).
  • PSDs are also require if your order includes Copy Albums.

Note: Matted Queensberry albums cannot be designed with third-party software.

Click here for more about third party design.

Queensberry's album colour correction services

If you're using Queensberry's album design service or designing in Workspace, all you need to do is request the service when ordering. We will work with the JPGs that you upload.

If you're using third-party software we require layered PSD files, which enable us to work on individual layers and images within page layouts. All alpha channels must be removed, and adjustment layers either removed or merged with the layers they are intended to affect.
