Album Gutter Examples

Creased Flushmount Layout Example: 

Our creased Flushmount Albums are assembled with one continuous print across the entire layout. However there is still a crease line down the centre (gutter) and important details (e.g. faces) generally don’t look great when the crease line goes directly through them.

Moving subjects off centre like the examples below works well. 

Cut Flushmount Layout Example: 

If you have ordered a cut Flushmount Album it will be produced with a micro cut at the gutter (1mm) therefore important details e.g. faces generally don’t look great when the cut line goes through their face.

We recommend moving important subjects out of the centre line, like the image below.

Duo & Overlay Matted Layout Example:
Our Duo and Overlay Matted albums have a 3-4mm gap at the gutter, and therefore important details (e.g. faces) generally don’t look great when the cutline goes through them.
